Deze levendige wezens bewonen een toekomstig paradijs waar planten, dieren en mensen gelijkwaardig naast elkaar bestaan. Te midden van pandemie\u00ebn, natuurlijke vernietiging en sociale onrust haalt Maen Florin primitieve interesses naar boven die diep in haar geworteld zijn. Ze cre\u00ebert mutaties die evolueren tot vormen die geavanceerder zijn dan het heden en die nieuwe verbindingen met de natuur aangaan. Koralen met vier handen, schelpvormige gezichten en octopus-mens hybriden lijken onbekend voor ons die in het heden leven.<br \/>\nAdditionele, abstracte en eenvoudige vormen in combinatie met felle, levendige kleuren roepen een sprookjesachtige sfeer op. De kunstenaar neemt afstand van vertrouwde soorten en levenswijzen waarin de mens centraal staat en richt zich op een wereld waarin de natuur centraal staat en die een nieuwe manier van leven inluidt.
